Erin has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Kentucky in the USA and after graduating, she spent 2 years teaching primary school classroom music before making her way to New Zealand. She also manages and teaches for the North Canterbury branch of NZMSM.

Hilary is qualified in LTCL flute, classical and modern piano and holds a Graduate Secondary Diploma of Teaching and Learning.
She has taught with NZMSM for 22 years. She performs in two local groups, the Mainland Big Band and Risingholme Orchestra.

Genevieve has been teaching piano professionally for 18 years. She has a dipATCL in piano performance from Trinity College London and is a full associate member of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers NZ. Her experience in teaching is as an itinerant teacher at Christchurch Schools and at her home private teaching studio. She teaches all ages, from 4 to 94!

Wendy has taught with NZMSM for the last two years. She has an extensive performance background as a professional vocalist/musician and dancer.
Her musical genres include jazz, (B. Music Arts in Jazz) pop and Latin American and Egyptian styles.

Tessa Olivier completed her BMus Ed Honours degree (piano & viola) at the University of Stellenbosch and started her teaching career in Cape Town, South Africa. She moved to New Zealand in 2002 and continued teaching/performing. After a short stint back in South Africa, she is now in Christchurch. Tessa is an accomplished accompanist and chamber musician and is passionate about teaching piano, violin and viola, as well as theory.

Aron teaches classical, acoustic and electric guitar. He taught privately for 8 years in England before moving to New Zealand in 2013 and started up again in Christchurch in 2023. He has experience playing in bands in England and New Zealand. Aron looks forward to sharing his talent and love of music with his students.

Peter grew up in a household where music was always playing and singing was as common as breathing. His innate love of music became a fascination with rock guitar as a preteen and he started learning to play at age 13. He has played guitar and bass professionally for 30 years and is ready to share what he knows with others.

A keen musician for 20 years, Vaemu’s focus is on vocals for which he is trained.He has experience teaching vocal skills to children and teens and taking choirs of young people. He is experienced in solo leads, arrangement for singing and piano/guitar (which he also plays), use of software, live performance and recording.
